Cely Woods is former farmland surrounding the ancient woodlands of Warwick and White Post Woods, part of it planted up with mainly native broad-leaved trees.

Open meadows have been left between the plantings and support many wild flowers. Natural regeneration from the ancient woods has been encouraged and here an interesting flora has developed. Many butterflies and other insects are attracted in summer.

Running Water Brook crosses the site and an attractive small wetland has been created nearby.
